Batman: Arkham Knight Revealed

Batman: Arkam Knight was revealed today and is stated to be the final game in the Rocksteady Arkham series, taking place 1 year after the events of Arkham City. The English developers are promising a much larger map than City and players will even have access to the Batmobile. GameInformer was more details in their upcoming issue, but for now enjoy this new trailer from WB Games and Rocksteady.

Side Not:

I don’t understand game publishers. They get so upset then their games get revealed early, but it they themselves that have created the environment for that to happen. In their perfect ideal scenario, they announced a game, then customers can go and pre-order said game that same day at retailers, who are already decked out in marketing material. For that to work, retailers have to be sent the promotional supplies ahead of time, normal a few days before the official reveal. More than enough time to information to leak. This is what happened to Batman: Arkham Knight. Heads up big game publishers: you can announce a game and send promotional materials after. Customers are going to pre-order your product whether Gamestop has a poster in the window or not.
